It was a dark and stormy night. Wind howled angrily and beat against the old window frames, allowing echoes to roam throughout the manor freely. Rain pounded furiously against the door and clung to the warped glass like tears. Inky black clouds littered the night sky vaingloriously, refusing any person to observe anything but the clouds themselves.
A small boy hid in the darkness, his entire being shaking with the utmost fright. Small tears leaked from his eyes and left his rosy cheeks damp. Every burst of lightning and bellow of thunder that erupted from the outside world penetrated the boy's makeshift fort, causing a soft whimper or sob to escape from his terrified lips.
Finally, unable to stand it any longer, he leapt from his cocoon of blankets and raced across the cold wood floor. His bare feet padded franticly as he made his way down the hall and to the large oak door that blocked him from his beloved caretaker.
Without even bothering to knock, he opened the wide door and peeked his blonde head inside.
"Arthur?"
His cerulean eyes scanned the lump as it twitched and writhed on the bed.
"Mmmm…?"
"Arthur?"
The mass sat up suddenly and quickly lit the candle near his bed, illuminating the looming darkness. Alfred felt like a weight had been taken off his shoulders as his beloved Arthur came into view.
"Alfred? What's wrong?"
"N-Nothing. I just thought that maybe you'd be afraid 'cause the storm was so loud! So, I thought I could come and protect you, just until the storm is over…"
He nervously bit his lip through the lie and looked away. He never was a good liar, but right now that didn't matter. He was not about to sleep alone tonight.
Arthur analyzed the small child. He was visibly shaking and pale with fear. Wet streaks from tears were still obviously present on his face. It was a heartbreaking sight.
"Alfred! You came just in time. I didn't know how much longer I could hold out! I am so afraid. Would you mind sleeping with me tonight?" He held out his arms and watched as
Alfred's face lit up with delight.
"Re-really? I mean, of course Arthur! I'll protect you." He ran forward and jumped into Arthur's warm embrace.
Snuggling up close, he could hear the steady comforting beats of Arthur's heart

USUK - Just Three Little Words
America was pacing around the conference room, feeling utterly bored. He checked his watch again. Somehow, he'd managed to wake up earlier than usual this morning, think he was late, and get to the meeting way ahead of schedule. He was even the first one there! At first, he had been ecstatic - he finally had something to rub in that commie's face - but after awhile, the joy had worn off, giving way to complete boredom. He checked his watch for perhaps the seventh time that minute, sighing again. He ran his fingers through his hair, letting out a low growl of frustration. Suddenly, he heard footsteps coming from the hallway. His head whipped a

Alfred smiled down at him before getting off the swing and bri

England knew that every time his ex-charge, America, came over, they would end up going to Mcdonalds. It was practically a tradition for the American. England would insist that his home cooking was delicious and they should just stay home and eat, but America thought otherwise. "Iggy, haven't you figured out you can't cook?" America said after England tried to feed him blackened mush that was supposed to be curry. England growled, hitting him with a wooden spoon. "I can bloody cook, idiot!" He had such a short temper. America winced as the wooden came into contact with his arm. Ow. He rubbed the sore spot. "Let's just go out to eat. I'll pay.

Just a oneshot I wrote because I was tired and stuff. I'll do some more writing tomaorw.
I like it, even if this is really short and the ending sucks.
